Welcome to the Lincolnshire Bat Group Website.

Whether you are here because you are:

  • a member of the public who has found a grounded bat and needs to know what to do with it,
  • already a member looking for survey information, events to help with or old meeting minutes,
  • a prospective new member hoping to find out what we do, when and where, and how to join us,
  • someone who wants to find out more about the bat flying around their garden at night or to make their garden more bat-friendly.

We hope we will have the information you are looking for.

These sessions will take place on weekends (usually Sundays) throughout the Summer period, depending on Kiran’s availability.

Bat Group Meeting – Tuesday 28th July, The Bull Hotel, Horncastle @ 7.30pm

This meeting will have a stronger focus on communications, technology, and administrative matters than some of our other gatherings. The committee will be discussing topics relating to the running of the group, member communications, digital resources, and future planning. While there will be fewer fieldwork and survey updates than usual, members are welcome to attend, keep informed about the direction of the group, and contribute ideas and feedback.

If you’re interested in how the Bat Group operates behind the scenes, or would like to help shape its future activities and communications, we’d be delighted to see you there.
